Abelisaurid Tooth 7.5cm – Cretaceous Dinosaur | Rare location - Atlas Mountains

Abelisaurid Tooth – Cretaceous Dinosaur from the Atlas Mountains
Cenomanian (~95 million years ago) | Atlas Mountains, Morocco

This authentic abelisaurid dinosaur tooth originates from the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous, approximately 95 million years ago. Discovered in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, a less common and more localized fossil region, it represents a rare find from North African theropod fauna.

Abelisaurid teeth are typically more robust and thicker in cross-section than those of Carcharodontosaurus, reflecting differences in feeding mechanics and jaw structure. This specimen displays a strong, compact form with natural enamel texture and characteristic morphology.

Fossils from this region are significantly less common than those from the Kem Kem Beds, adding to the uniqueness of this piece.
