This authentic Bison priscus lower jaw originates from the Late Pleistocene, approximately 53,000 years ago, during the height of the last Ice Age. Recovered from Polish Pleistocene deposits, it represents steppe bison populations that once dominated the cold grasslands of prehistoric Europe.

Measuring approx 45cm, the specimen preserves strong bone structure and natural surface texture shaped by long-term burial. Completely original and unrestored, it offers a clear view of powerful jaw anatomy and grazing adaptation in one of the most iconic Ice Age mammals.
